About us

CalcHub is built and published by Adiram, an independent software studio building Android and web products people can trust. It exists for one reason: to give people a calculator that returns the right number and shows the working, so they can check it themselves.

How our calculators are built

Every tool is written from the published formula, not copied from another site. Each page states the formula used, walks through a worked example with real figures, and lists the assumptions behind the result. Where a formula has variations (for example, reducing-balance versus flat-rate interest), we say which one we use and why.

How results are checked

Each calculator is tested against worked examples from primary sources — standard financial formulas, WHO classifications for BMI, and official tax rate schedules where applicable. If you find a result you believe is wrong, tell us with the inputs you used and we will investigate and correct it.

Privacy by design

All calculations run entirely in your browser using JavaScript. The numbers you type — salary, loan amount, weight, date of birth — are never sent to our servers, because there is no server-side calculation. See our privacy policy for what is collected.

How the site is funded

There is no charge to use the calculators. Running costs are covered by display advertising. Ads never change a calculation, and we do not accept payment to alter results or recommendations.
